Effective 16 July 2026Version 1.1English

1. Who is responsible?

FBR Europe B.V. is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. This policy applies only where FBR Europe B.V. is the responsible organisation.

  • Address: De Finnen 1, 9001 XW Grou, The Netherlands
  • Chamber of Commerce: 94167540
  • Email: info@fbr-europe.com
  • Telephone: +31 88 410 23 00

2. What data do we use?

Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:

  • Website data: IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, approximate location, referrer, timestamps, and technical or security logs.
  • Preferences: your selected website language and your cookie choice.
  • Communications: your name, company, role, email address, telephone number, and the contents of messages you send to us.
  • Business and project data: quotation, contract, equipment, production, delivery, logistics, invoicing, payment, incident, and claim information.
  • Job applications: contact details, CV, application correspondence, and other information you choose to email to us.

The website has no contact form, customer account, online checkout, or online payment function. Contact and job-application links open your own email application; we receive data only when you choose to send the email.

Business and project data normally comes from you, your employer or organisation, project partners, venues, suppliers, or public business sources.

3. Why do we use it?

  • To operate, secure, and deliver the website, based on our legitimate interest in running a reliable business website.
  • To use Google Analytics after you consent, so we can understand general website use.
  • To answer enquiries, prepare quotations, and take requested steps before entering into a contract.
  • To perform contracts, organise rentals and productions, communicate with business contacts, invoice customers, and administer payments.
  • To assess applications and communicate with applicants, based on pre-contract steps and our legitimate interest in recruitment.
  • To meet legal obligations and to prevent fraud, protect equipment, manage incidents, and establish or defend legal claims.

Our legal bases are consent, steps before a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests, depending on the purpose above.

If information is needed for a quotation, contract, rental, or job application and you do not provide it, we may be unable to proceed.

4. Website providers and cookies

The website currently uses:

  • Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-7V90X40KBC), but only after you accept analytics cookies;
  • Google Fonts to deliver the Inter typeface;
  • Cloudflare R2 to deliver website images and media;
  • browser local storage to remember language and cookie preferences.

Google and Cloudflare receive technical request data, such as an IP address and browser information, when their resources are requested. See the Cookie Policy for the cookies and storage used on this website.

The website does not currently use advertising pixels, retargeting cookies, or behavioural advertising tools.

5. Who may receive data?

Where necessary, personal data may be shared with:

  • website, hosting, media-delivery, analytics, email, and IT providers;
  • venues, transport providers, technicians, subcontractors, and project partners;
  • banks, accountants, insurers, legal advisers, and other professional advisers;
  • courts, regulators, police, tax authorities, or other authorities where required.

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we use a lawful transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards.

6. How long do we keep data?

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the relevant purpose, contract, legal obligation, warranty, insurance matter, dispute, or claim. Core financial and business records are retained for the period required by Dutch law. Enquiries and job applications that do not lead to a relationship are removed when they are no longer reasonably needed.

The website stores your cookie choice for up to 180 days. Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention setting of our Google Analytics property. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive your personal data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Send requests to info@fbr-europe.com. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority or another competent privacy authority.

8. Security and updates

We use reasonable technical and organisational security measures. No internet system is completely secure. We do not use solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects in the processing described here.

We may update this policy when the website, our services, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
